Tonsillitis, Adenoiditis, Pharyngitis (sore throat), without surgery

Tonsillitis and adenoiditis are infections of the tonsils (located on both sides of the back of the throat) and adenoids (located above the tonsils, behind the nose). The tonsils and adenoids are both part of the body’s lymphatic system, and help filter out germs that enter through the mouth and nose. Pharyngitis is commonly called a sore throat, and usually accompanies a viral infection.
