Glaucoma (Open-Angle), without surgery

Glaucoma is a disorder that causes damage to the optic nerve, which in turn leads to diminished sight or, in some cases, blindness. Open-angle glaucoma is the most common type of glaucoma. It produces a gradual loss of peripheral (side) vision. In advanced stages, open-angle glaucoma can cause tunnel vision. Glaucoma can’t be cured, but eye drops or oral medications can be used to slow the progression of the disease.
