Shoulder Surgery, arthroscopic, with acromioplasty

Arthroscopy allows doctors see inside the joints to diagnose and treat joint problems. During surgery, scar tissue and damaged tendon and bursa from the joint is removed. Small amounts of bone may also be removed from the underside of the acromion and the acromioclavicular joint.
